ORDINANCE NO. 1821E

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

 

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission and would not deprive anyone of access to property; and

 

WHEREAS, a special emergency exists and the adoption of this Ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the easement situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

 

The South 10 feet of Lot 2

PETERSON IRWIN SUBDIVISION

 

be and the same is hereby vacated, and this Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 11th day of June, 1979.
