ORDINANCE NO. 1822

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT.

 

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the easement situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

 

The Northerly 100 feet of the East 15 feet, Lot 6, Block 7, Elmwood Plaza according to refiling Plat therefor, CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

 

be and the same is hereby vacated.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of July, 1979.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1822, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 6th day of June, 1979, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
