ORDINANCE NO. 1823

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A ROADWAY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

 

WHEREAS, a roadway within the City, as hereinafter described, has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission and would not result in any hardships to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

That the roadway within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

 

The Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 1 North, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, beginning at the Northern most point of the West line of the right-of-way for Niblic Drive, Partee Heights Subdivision, Northwesterly 160 feet, by 50 feet wide, an unnamed, dead-end public right of way between Lot 1, Block 11 and Lot 4, Block 8, Partee Heights Subdivision,

 

be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities and drainage.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of August, 1979.
