ORDINANCE NO. 1836

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A ROADWAY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, a roadway within the City, as hereinafter described, has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission and would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the roadway within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

PARCEL 1: That portion of the cul-de-sac on Knollwood Lane lying West of the following described line: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 2, Block 2 of the Valley Heights Subdivision, thence North 98.24 feet to the North line of said subdivision;

and

PARCEL 2: That portion of the cul-de-sac on Knollwood Lane lying East of the following described line: Beginning at a point North, 23.17 feet from the Southwest Corner of Lot 4 Block 1 of the Valley Heights Subdivision, thence North 60.0 feet to a point on the arc of the cul-de-sac;

be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to utility and irrigation easement over the North 10 feet of PARCEL 1.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of September, 1979.
