ORDINANCE NO. 1848

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

WHEREAS, an alley within the City of Grand Junction has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission, and would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That an alley within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

The alley adjoining Lots 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 in Block 1 of the FAIRLEY SUBDIVISION, City of Grand Junction,

be, and the same is, hereby vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of November, 1979.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1848, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 7th day of november, 1979, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at lest ten days before its final passage.
