ORDINANCE NO. 1851
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE CHARGES MADE FOR RESCUE UNIT TRANSPORTATION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That section (1) of Section 12-11 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:
(1) Beginning January 1, 1969, JANUARY 1, 1980, the appropriate charge shall be made for transporting persons in the City of Grand Junction fire department rescue unit or on units of the fire department of the city from the scene of an accident or otherwise. Such charges shall be as follows:
(a) Transportation entirely within the city AND THE GRAND JUNCTION RURAL FIRE DISTRICT . . . $15.00 . . . $65.00.
(b) Transportation any portion of which is outside both the city and the Grand Junction Rural Fire Protection District. The charge shall be $20.00 plus $0.50 per mile $1.50 PER MILE from the point of pick up to the destination, plus $65.00.
(c) ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR USE OF OXYGEN INCLUDING MASK AND CANNULA - $8.50.
