ORDINANCE NO. 1854

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING CHARGES FOR THE USE OF WATER WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION AND INCREASING THE SAME.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

1. That the following subsections of Section 31-12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

(a)(1) Rate. Minimum charge (3,000 gallons or less) per month: $3.00.

Charge for each 1,000 gallons thereafter as follows:

(b)(1) Rate. Minimum charge (3,000 gallons or less) per month: $6.00.

(c)(1) Rate. Minimum charge (3,000 gallons or less) per month: $6.00.

Charge for each 1,000 gallons thereafter as follows:

(d)(1) Rate. Minimum charge (3,000 gallons or less) per month: $5.40.

Charge for each 1,000 gallons thereafter as follows:

(e)(1) Rate. Minimum charge (3,000 gallons or less) per month: $5.36.

Charge for each 1,000 gallons thereafter as follows:

2. That subsection (f) of Section 31-12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be repealed.

3. That the rates prescribed herein shall take effect beginning with the first billing after January 1, 1980.
