ORDINANCE NO. 1872

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT IN THE CITY.

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the easement situate in City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

The East 10 feet of Lot 34, Block 9, in Spring Valley Subdivision, Filing #6, except the North 10 feet and the South 10 feet thereof,

be, and the same hereby is, vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of March, 1980.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1872, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 20th day of February, 1980, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
