ORDINANCE NO. 1888

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP, A PART OF CHAPTER 32 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION BY ADDING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE CITY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the Zoning Map, a part of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction by amended by adding the zoning of the following described land situate in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

Commencing at the East Quarter Corner of Section 2, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian; thence North 0 deg. 05 min. East 329.85 feet, thence South 89 deg. 52 min. 40 sec. West along the South line of the North Half of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 264.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, thence continuing along the South line of the North Half of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, South 89 deg. 52 min. 40 sec. West 704.35 feet to the East right of way of Horizon Drive, thence North 36 deg. 18 min. East along the East right of way of Horizon Drive 138.89 feet, thence North 56 deg. 15 min. 30 sec. East 231.40 feet, thence North 66 deg. 21 min. East 714.43 feet to an intersection of the West right of way of 27 Road and the Southeast right of way of Horizon Drive, thence South 0 deg. 05 min. West along the West right of way of 27 Road 215.69 feet, thence South 89 deg. 52 min. 40 sec. West 260.00 feet, thence South 0 deg. 05 min. West 200.00 feet, thence North 89 deg. 52 min. 40 sec. East 260.00 feet, thence South 0 deg. 05 min. West 79.37 feet, thence South 89 deg. 52 min. 40 sec. West 224.00 feet, thence South 0 deg. 05 min. West 30.00 feet to the point of beginning;

to the zoning category PR-34.9 (Planned Residential).
