ORDINANCE NO. 1896

 

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS

 

WHEREAS, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has petitioned the City of Grand Junction for a conditional use for a seminary classroom in a Single Family/Duplex Residential zone of the City on the land described as follows:

 

The North 50 feet of Lot 20

 

CAPITOL HILL SUBDIVISION

 

and

 

WHEREAS, a hearing was held on May 21, 1980, and the City Council has found an does hereby find that such conditional use would be in the public interest;

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

That the application of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for a conditional use for a seminary classroom on the above described property be approved, in accordance with the plan submitted.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of June, 1980.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1896, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 21st day of May, 1980, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
