ORDINANCE NO. 1902

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

WHEREAS, on the 18th day of June, 1980, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and

WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owner of one hundred percent of the territory petitioned for annexation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described to wit:

Beginning at the Southwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, thence North 190 feet, thence East 100 feet, thence South 190 feet, thence West to point of beginning, except 30 feet on South for road;

be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of July, 1980.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1902, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 18th day of June, 1980, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
