ORDINANCE NO. 1906 E
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES TO ENTER INTO AN INSTALLMENT LAND PURCHASE CONTRACT TO PURCHASE CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund of the City of Grand Junction the sum of $150,000.00 or so much thereof as may be necessary, to be expended to enter into an Installment Land Purchase Contract for the purchase of lands within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, described as:
Lots 1 through 24 in Block 99, CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION
and
Lots 9 through 12 in Block 100, CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION
2. That a special emergency exists and the adoption of this Ordinance is necessary for the public peace, health and safety and this Ordinance shall become final upon its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing emergency ordinance, entitled AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES TO ENTER INTO AN INSTALLMENT LAND PURCHASE CONTRACT TO PURCHASE CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, numbered 1906, and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 6th day of August, 1980.
