ORDINANCE NO. 1919

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT IN THE CITY.

 

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the easement situate in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:

 

Commencing at the Southwesterly Corner of Lot No. 27, Block 7, Pheasant Run, Spring Valley Filing #6, thence North 21 deg. 24 min. 43 sec. E along the Westerly line of said Lot 27 a distance of 8.04 feet to the true point of beginning; thence 74 deg. 18 min. 20 sec. E 79.31 feet, thence along the arc of a curve to the right whose long chord bears N 17 deg. 28 min. 42 sec. W a distance of 2.00 feet and having a central angle of 00 deg. 23 min. 43 sec. and a radius of 290.00 feet, a distance of 2.00 feet, thence N 74 deg. 18 min. 20 sec. W 79.17 feet to the Westerly line of said Lot 27, thence S 21 deg. 24 min. 43 sec. W 2.00 feet along said Westerly line to the true point of beginning,

 

be and the same hereby is vacated.
