ORDINANCE NO. 1942

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY WITHIN THE CITY.

WHEREAS, the alley hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the alley situate in the City of Grand Junction, County of Mesa and State of Colorado, and described as:

The E/W alley between Lot 8 and Lots 4 through 7 of Block 1, EARNEST T. SPARN SUBDIVISION, and the N/S alley between Lots 8 through 17 and Lots 18 through 27 in said Block 1, subject to easements for existing utilities,

be and the same hereby is vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of February, 1981.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1942, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 21st day of January, 1981, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
