ORDINANCE NO. 1952

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT IN THE CITY.

 

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the easement situate in the City of Grand Junction, County of Mesa and State of Colorado, and described as:

 

A twenty foot wide railroad easement over and across Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Winters Avenue Industrial Park as recorded in Book 12 at Page 305 and 306 of the Mesa County Records, said 20-foot wide easement being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast Corner of Said Lot 1; thence South 89 deg. 56 min. 05 sec. West 10.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence South 00 deg. 03 min. 55 sec. East 10.00 feet; thence South 89 deg. 56 min. 05 sec. West 834.68 feet; thence along the arc of a curve to the right whose radius is 391.97 feet and whose long chord bears North 53 deg. 39 min. 27 sec. West 465.29 feet; thence North 01 deg. 07 min. 55 sec. East 123.61 feet; thence along the arc of a curve to the left whose radius is 371.97 feet and whose long chord bears South 44 deg. 28 min. 00 sec. East 531.51 feet; thence North 89 deg. 56 min. 05 sec. East 834.68 feet; thence South 00 deg. 03 min. 55 sec. East 10.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning;

 

be and the same hereby is vacated.
