ORDINANCE NO. 1961

AN ORDINANCE VACATING RIGHT OF WAY IN THE CITY.

WHEREAS, the portion of the right-of-way hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following portion of right-of-way within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to-wit:

A 30-foot roadway located along the North 1,970 feet of the West Section line of Section 31, Township 1 North, Range 1 East of the Ute Meridian and a 30-foot roadway located along the North 1,970 feet of the East Section line of Section 36, Township 1 North, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian,

be and the same is hereby vacated.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1981.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1961, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 6th day of May, 1981, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
