ORDINANCE NO. 1970

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT IN THE CITY.

 

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the easement situate in the City of Grand Junction, County of Mesa and State of Colorado, described as:

 

A portion of a fifteen foot utility easement lying over and across Lot 5 at the Replat of Lots 1 through 5, Block Two, Crossroads Colorado West in Grand Junction, as filed and recorded in Plat Book 11, Page 351 in the office of the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder, said vacated easement being more particularly described as follows: The Easterly five feet of the fifteen foot utility easement lying East of the West property line of the above described Lot 5, except the Southerly six feet thereof,

 

be and the same is hereby vacated.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 1981.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1970, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 20th day of May, 1981, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
