ORDINANCE NO. 1979

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP, A PART OF CHAPTER 32 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION BY ADDING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the Zoning Map, a part of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended by adding the zoning of the following described land situated in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

A tract of land located in a part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 25; thence South 89 deg. 57 min. 00 sec. East along the North line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 25 a distance of 1299.29 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing South 89 deg. 57 min. 00 sec. East along said North line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25 a distance of 1343.81 feet to the Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 25; thence South 00 deg. 03 min. 00 sec. East along the East line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 25 a distance of 579.12 feet; thence South 89 deg. 57 min. 00 sec. West 449.19 feet; thence South 00 deg. 03 min. 00 sec. East 549.00 feet, more or less, to the North right of way line of U.S. Highway 6 & 50; thence North 69 deg. 29 min. 00 sec. East along said North right of way line 956.24 feet; thence North 00 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. East 794.73 feet to the True Point of Beginning,

to the zoning category H.O. (Highway Oriented).
