ORDINANCE NO. 1980

AN ORDINANCE VACATING RIGHT OF WAY IN THE CITY.

WHEREAS, the portion of right of way hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following portion of right of way within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

Beginning at a point which bears South 0 deg. 02 min. West 506.0 feet from the North Quarter Corner of Section 11, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian; thence North 89 deg. 58 min. West 40.00 feet; thence North 0 deg. 02 min. East 161.80 feet; thence along the arc of a 206.94 foot radius curve to the left 128.94 feet; the chord of which bears South 17 deg. 49 min. East 126.86 feet; thence South 35 deg. 40 min. East 1.91 feet; thence South 0 deg. 02 min. West 39.49 feet to the point of beginning.

be and the same is hereby vacated.
