ORDINANCE NO. 2006
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of September, 1981, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owner of one hundred percent of the territory petitioned for annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.
That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described as:
TRACT "B"
A tract of land located in a part of the SE1/4 SE1/4 of Section 6, T.1S., R.1E of the Ute Meridian, Mesa County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the SE Corner of said Section 6: Thence N 89 deg. 51 min. 17 sec. W 375.32 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence N 00 deg. 08 min. 43 sec. E 50.00 feet; Thence along the arc of a curve to the left whose radius is 20.00 feet and whose long chord bears N 44 deg. 51 min. 17 sec. W 28.28 feet; Thence N 00 deg. 08 min. 43 sec. A tract platted in Indian Village Subdivision #2 as Indian Wash Park and Open Space.
And
That part of 29 Road right of way lying in the SE1/4 SE1/4 Section 6 T1S R1S U.M. and North half of F Road right of way adjacent to Tract "B" and adjacent to Indian Wash Park and Open Space,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.
