ORDINANCE NO. 2012
AN ORDINANCE VACATING RIGHTS OF WAY AND UTILITY EASEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the rights of way and easements hereinafter described have been petitioned for vacation; and
WHEREAS, such vacations have been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That the following portions of right of way and easements within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:
The South 253 feet + of Laveta Street, between Santa Clara Avenue and Unaweep Avenue; and
The South 184 feet + of the alley parallel to and west of Laveta Street, between Santa Clara Avenue and Unaweep Avenue; and
The South 184 feet + of the alley parallel to and east of Laveta Street, between Santa Clara Avenue and Unaweep Avenue; and
An irrigation easement lying on the west 3 feet of Lots 17, 16, 15, 14 and 13, Block 9, Mesa Heights Subdivision; and
A 20 foot sewer easement lying from northwesterly to southeasterly across Lots 24, 25 and 26, Block 10, Mesa Heights Subdivision,
be and the same are hereby vacated.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of November, 1981.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the forgoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2012, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 21st day of October, 1981, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
