ORDINANCE NO. 2025

AN ORDINANCE RAISING SEWERAGE RATES IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

1. That subsection B of Section 31 of Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

B. Beginning with the first billings sent out after January 1, 1982, the EQU will be $6.10.

2. That subsection E of Section 31 of Chapter 24 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

E. Tank truck operators will be assessed $5.15 per load for 650 gallons or less of septic tank waters and wastes at the receiving facility of the wastewater treatment plant. Septic tank waters and wastes exclude sand, oil and grease trap cleanings which are prohibited.
