ORDINANCE NO. 2037

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

WHEREAS, on the 17th day of February, 1982, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and

WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owner of one hundred percent of the territory petitioned for annexation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described to wit:

A tract of land located in a part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 1 North, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the South Half of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 36; thence South 00 deg. 07 min. 49 sec. West along the West line of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 36 a distance of 352.85 feet; thence South 88 deg. 23 min. 56 sec. East 50.02 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing South 88 deg. 23 min. 56 sec. East 438.58 Feet; Thence South 84 deg. 06 min. 14 sec. East 13.96 feet; thence along the arc of a curve to the left whose radius is 130.00 feet and whose long chord bears South 55 deg. 23 min. 36 sec. East 124.90 feet; thence North 84 deg. 06 min. 14 sec. West 121.25 feet; thence North 88 deg. 23 min. 56 sec. West 434.79 feet; thence North 00 deg. 07 min. 49 sec. East 60.02 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;

be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of March, 1982.
