ORDINANCE NO. 2057

VACATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, George P. Chronis and Cecilia G. Chronis have petitioned the City for the vacation of the right-of-way described as follows:

A right-of-way for street and utility purposes over and across the West 10 feet of the East 50 feet of the following described tract:

Commencing at the Northeast Corner of Section 15, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian; thence South along the East line thereof, 917.75 feet to the true point of beginning; thence West 212 feet; thence South 49.65 feet; thence East 212 feet to the East line of said Section 15; thence North along said East line, 49.65 feet to the true point of beginning;

and

WHEREAS, said vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission and the City Engineer;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the vacation of the above described right-of-way be approved.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2057, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 19th day of May, 1982, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
