ORDINANCE NO. 2058

VACATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, Jay Kuen and Ralph Braden have petitioned the City of Grand Junction for the vacation of the right-of-way described as follows:

that part of Horizon/70 Court extending into Lot 4, Horizon/70 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 12, page 76, of the records of the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder, described in more detail as follows:

Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 3, Horizon/70 Subdivision; thence North 68 deg. 41 min. 34 sec. East 50.00 feet to the Easterly right-of-way line of Horizon/70 Court; thence along the right-of-way line of Horizon/70 Court, the following two courses: 1) North 21 deg. 18 min. 26 sec. West 50.00 feet; 2) along the arc of a curve deflecting to the left having a radius of 50.00 feet, a central angle of 270 deg. 00 min. 00 sec., a length of 235.62 feet, and a chord bearing South 23 deg. 41 min. 34 sec. West 70.71 feet to the beginning.

The basis for bearings for the above described right-of-way vacation is the Easterly right-of-way line of Horizon/70 Court, as shown on the subdivision plat of Horizon/70 Subdivision;

and

WHEREAS, said vacation has been approved by the Grand Junction Planning Commission and the City Engineer;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the vacation of the above described right-of-way be approved.
