ORDINANCE NO. 2066
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP, A PART OF CHAPTER 32 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That the Zoning Map, a part of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, be amended by changing the zoning of the following described land situate in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:
A tract of land in Section 31 Township 1 North, range 1 East, of the Ute Meridian in Mesa County, Colorado, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at Northeast corner of said Section 31; thence, South 20 deg. 57 min. East 966.27 feet, more or less, to a point which is on the end of the centerline of runway 11/29 at Walker Field which has been established as Station 0 + 52.6 runway 11/29; thence, North 54 deg. 54 min. West 3,562.4 feet to a point which is Station 36 + 15 on centerline runway 11/29; thence, South 35 deg. 06 min. West 2,179 feet to a point left of centerline runway 11/29 Station 36 + 15, which is the point of beginning; thence, South 35 deg. 06 min. West 495.41 feet to a point 2,674.41 feet left of centerline runway 11/29 Station 36 + 15; thence, North 54 deg. 53 min. 04 sec. West 393.86 feet to a point 2,674.30 feet left of centerline runway 11/29 Station 40 + 08.86; thence, on a curve to the right having a deflection of 21 deg. 01 min. 47.8 sec., a radius of 350 feet and a distance of 128.31 feet to a point 2,650.96 feet left of centerline runway 11/29 Station 41 + 34.45; thence, North 33 deg. 51 min. 16 sec. West 229.16 feet to a point 2,568.66 feet left of centerline runway 11/29 Station 43 + 48.33; thence, North 35 deg. 06 min. East 389.66 feet to a point 2,179 feet left of centerline runway 11/29 Station 43 + 48.33; thence, South 54 deg. 54 min. 00 sec. East 733.33 feet to a point 2,179 feet left of centerline runway 11/29 Station 36 + 15 which is the true point of beginning; containing 348,478 square feet (8.00 acres) more or less; bearings are true based on established airport lines from zoning category PZ (Public Zones) to PAD (Planned Airport Development).
