ORDINANCE NO. 2076

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

WHEREAS, on the 18th day of August, 1982, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and

WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owner of one hundred percent of the territory petitioned for annexation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described to wit:

Lots 1 through 10, Pioneer Village South

AND

Beginning 671.56 feet North 00 deg. 11 min. 26 sec. East and 786.97 feet North 69 deg. 13 min. East of the Southwest Corner, Section 15, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, thence North 69 deg. 13 min. East 215 feet, thence South 65 deg. 47 min. East 70.7 feet, thence South 20 deg. 47 min. East 194.6 feet, thence South 66 deg. 10 min. 30 sec. West 231.19 feet, thence North 49 deg. West 81.36 feet, thence North 19 deg. 35 min. 45 sec. West 185.21 feet to beginning

AND

Highway 340 right of way adjacent to above;

be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of September, 1982.
