ORDINANCE NO. 2089

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY THE NECESSARY EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1983, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1983, AND FIXING THE SALARY OF THE CITY MANAGER OF SAID CITY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

SECTION 1. That the following sums of money, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the purpose of defraying the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1983, and ending December 31, 1983, said sums to be derived from the various funds as indicated for the expenditures of:

The General Fund . . . $18,096,661.00

The Streets & Storm Drainage Fund . . . 11,864,534.00

The Water Fund . . . 3,161,384.00

The Refuse Collection . . . 1,399,528.00

The County-City Sanitation Fund . . . 13,960,346.00

The Cemetery Fund . . . 267,817.00

The Swimming Pools Fund . . . 1,257,214.00

The Lincoln Park Golf Club Fund . . . 213,686.00

The Tiara Rado Golf Fund . . . 326,939.00

The Golf Course Expansion Fund . . . 177,215.00

The Parking Authority Fund . . . 152,186.00

The Water-Sanitation Bond & Interest Fund . . . 1,508,816.00

The Land Fund . . . 533,250.00

The Park Improvement Fund . . . 169,341.00

TOTAL 1983 . . . $53,088,917.00

The following sum shall be appropriated to the Finance Department, said sum to be derived from charges to various departments using materials stocked in "Stores Inventory" and having printing done by the City Printing Operation.

Revenue from Stores & Printing Fund . . . $540,167.00

The following sum shall be appropriated to the Data Processing Department, said sum to be derived from charges to various departments receiving services rendered by the Data Processing Department.

Revenue from Data Processing Fund . . . $715,442.00

The following sum shall be appropriated to the Equipment Division, said sum to be derived from equipment rentals to be charged the various departments of the City for use of said equipment from the appropriations of their respective departments.

For Equipment Division in the Public Works Department. $1,516,093.00

Revenue from Equipment Fund $974,093.00

Revenue from Equipment Replacement Fund $542,000.00

The following sums shall be appropriated to the following funds, said sum to be derived from revenue received from the State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1980.

Total Revenue Sharing Fund $1,371,458.00

Revenue to General Fund $1,031,645.00

Revenue to Street & Storm Drainage $339,813.00

SECTION 2. That the following amounts are hereby levied for collection in the year 1982 and for the specific purpose indicated.

For General Fund

12 mills $1,635,739.00

SECTION 3. That commencing January 3, 1983, the annual salary of the City Manager of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, shall be $46,500.00.
