ORDINANCE NO. 2101 E
AN ORDINANCE RAISING THE WATER RATES FOR CITY USERS ON THE UTE WATER SYSTEM AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
1. That effective February 1, 1983, Section 31-12 (e)(1) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction is amended to read as follows:
"(1) Rate. Minimum charge (3,000 gallons or less) per month $8.70. Charge for each 1,000 gallons thereafter shall be as follows:
Next 2,000 gallons . . . $2.80
All over 5,000 gallons . . . $1.23"
2. The passage of this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety and shall become effective upon its adoption.
