ORDINANCE NO. 2105

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

WHEREAS, on the 19th day of January, 1983, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and

WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owner of one hundred percent of the territory petitioned for annexation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described to wit:

Beginning at a point on the East line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian which bears North 00 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. East 1041.32 feet from the Southeast Corner of said Section 16; thence North 00 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. East 3.13 feet; thence North 58 deg. 50 min. 00 sec. West 474.62 feet; thence North 00 deg. 38 min. 09 sec. West 24.50 feet; thence North 89 deg. 53 min. 53 sec. West 91.00 feet; thence North 00 deg. 26 min. 57 sec. West 34.00 feet; thence North 55 deg. 33 min. 00 sec. West 210.00 feet; thence North 00 deg. 26 min. 57 sec. West 198.05 feet; thence South 85 deg. 11 min. 53 sec. East 367.61 feet; thence South 84 deg. 49 min. 50 sec. East 50.37 feet; thence South 89 deg. 53 min. 53 sec. east 119.70 feet; thence South 89 deg. 05 min. 21 sec. East 136.71 feet to a point on the East line of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 16; thence South 00 deg. 06 min. 07 sec. West 16.34 feet along said East line; thence North 85 deg. 20 min. 00 sec. East 75.12 feet; thence South 01 deg. 17 min. 56 sec. West 619.95 feet; thence North 54 deg. 40 min. 00 sec. West 75.11 feet to the point of beginning. Also right of way for Power Road on North;

be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.
