ORDINANCE NO. 2119

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY.

WHEREAS, the portion of right-of-way hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following portion of right-of-way within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

A parcel of land located in the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 1 North, Range 1 East, Ute Meridian, being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Southwest Corner of said Section 31, and considering the west line of said Section 31 to bear North 00 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. East with all bearings contained being relative thereto: thence North 00 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. East 3150.59 feet to a common point on the south edge of the right-of-way of Horizon Drive and the most northerly northwest lot corner of Lot 1, Block 1, of Grand Junction Technological Center Subdivision, said point also being the True Point of Beginning; thence North 00 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. East 48.97 feet; thence North 54 deg. 46 min. 30 sec. East 242.46 feet; thence South 35 deg. 13 min. 30 sec. East 40.00 feet to a common point on the south edge of the right-of-way of Horizon Drive and the Northeast Corner of said Lot 1; thence South 54 deg. 46 min. 30 sec. West 270.70 feet along the north line of said Lot 1 to the True Point of Beginning;

be and the same is hereby vacated.
