ORDINANCE NO. 2126
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of April, 1983, the City Council was asked to consider the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the territory was eligible for annexation as it had been surrounded by the City for in excess of three years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described to wit:
Beginning at a point 605 feet North of the Southeast Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian; thence West 280 feet, thence North 310 feet, thence East 280 feet, thence South 310 feet to beginning; and
Beginning 605 feet North and 280 feet West of the Southeast Corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian; thence West 30 feet, thence North 310 feet, thence East 30 feet, thence South 310 feet to Beginning;
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 1983.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2126, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado at a regular meeting of said body held on the 20th day of April, 1983, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
