ORDINANCE NO. 2137

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY AND AN ALLEY IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the alley and right-of-way hereinafter described have been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacations have been approved by the Planning Commission and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the right-of-way and alley more particularly described as follows:

 

The East-West alley and North-South 11th Street as recorded in Kister Subdivision, subject to existing utilities and common ingress-egress for adjacent property owners,

 

be and the same are hereby vacated.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of August, 1983.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2137, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 20th day of July, 1983, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
