ORDINANCE NO. 2146

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

WHEREAS, on the 7th day of September, 1983, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and

WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owner of one hundred percent of the territory petitioned for annexation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described to wit:

Beginning at the Northwest Corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, thence East 417.7 feet, thence South 208.7 feet, thence West 208.7 feet, thence South 209 feet, thence West 209 feet, thence North 418 feet to beginning; and

Beginning 417.7 feet South and 30 feet East of the West Quarter Corner of Section 3, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, thence North 89 deg. 57 min. East 179 feet, thence North 209 feet, thence North 89 deg. 57 min. East 208.7 feet, thence North 178.7 feet, thence North 89 deg. 57 min. East 99.5 feet, thence South 487.2 feet, thence South 89 deg. 57 min. West 487.2 feet, thence North 99.5 feet to beginning.

Together with F1/2 Road right-of-way on North and EXCEPT 25 Road right-of-way on the West (30 feet).

be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.
