ORDINANCE NO. 2164
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of December, 1983, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owners of one hundred percent of the territory petitioned for annexation:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described to wit:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian; thence North 00 deg. 11 min. West 427.5 feet, thence South 89 deg. 55 min. East 611.4 feet, thence South 00 deg. 11 min. East 427.5 feet, thence North 89 deg. 55 min. West 611.4 feet to beginning;
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1983.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2164, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 7th day of December, 1983, and that the same was published in the Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
