ORDINANCE NO. 2201

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the right-of-way hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the right-of-way more particularly described as follows:

 

The public right-of-way for alley purposes north of and parallel to Elm Avenue, extending east of College Place for a distance of 495 feet more or less and then south 125 feet more or less to Elm Avenue, all in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado,

 

be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of August, 1984.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2201, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 9th day of July, 1984, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
