ORDINANCE NO. 2209
AN ORDINANCE RAISING THE RATES OF WATER CUSTOMERS IN THE CITY WHO ARE ON THE UTE WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT SYSTEM.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
1. That Section 31-12(e)(1) of Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as hereinafter set out, to become effective so as to reflect a raise in rate by the Ute Water Conservancy District commencing October 1, 1984:
"(e)(1) Rate. Minimum charge (3,000 gallons or less) per month: $9.80.
Charge for each 1,000 gallons thereafter shall be as follows:
Next 2,200 gallons . . . $2.90
All over 5,000 gallons . . . $1.45."
