ORDINANCE NO. 2216
AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING MOBILE HOMES, MANUFACTURED HOMES AND VOCATIONAL/TECHNICAL SCHOOLS IN HIGHWAY ORIENTED ZONE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That the following Sections of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended as indicated:
1. That Vocational/Technical schools be added as a Conditional Use in the Highway Oriented Zone in the Use Zone Matrix (Figure 4-3-4 in Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction).
2. That explanation numbered (2) following the Use Zone Matrix, which is Figure 4-3-4 in Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, be amended to read:
(2) MANUFACTURED single family HOMES meeting uniform building code, OR EQUIVALENT ENGINEERING PERFORMANCE STANDARDS, are permitted wherever single family residential units are permitted by this code.
3. Chapter 13 of Chapter 32 of the said Code is amended by the addition of a definition, as follows:
EQUIVALENT ENGINEERING PERFORMANCE STANDARDS FOR MANUFACTURED HOUSING.
Standards in compliance with the requirements and limitations established for Manufactured Housing in 30-28-115, Colorado Revised Statutes, as from time to time amended.
4. Chapter 13 of Chapter 32 of said Code is amended by the addition of a definition, as follows:
MANUFACTURED HOUSING.
The definition of Manufactured Housing is as it is defined in 30-23-301(5)(a)(I), Colorado Revised Statutes, as from time to time amended.
5. That the definition MOBILE HOME (HUD CERTIFIED) in Chapter 13 of Chapter 32 of said Code is hereby repealed and removed from the Chapter.
