ORDINANCE NO. 2217

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the easement located in the County of Mesa, State of Colorado, and more particularly described as follows:

 

A permanent utility and irrigation easement lying in and along the entire north ten feet of Lot 5, MOORE SUBDIVISION FIRST ADDITION, in Section 24, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian per plat recorded in Book II Page 27 in the office of the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder,

 

be and the same is hereby vacated.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of December, 1984.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2217, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 14th day of November, 1984, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
