ORDINANCE NO. 2229

PROHIBITING STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING OF A MOTOR VEHICLE ON A SIDEWALK OR IN A SIDEWALK AREA IN A RESIDENTIAL ZONE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

1. That Section 11-1-(1) of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read:

(1). On a sidewalk OR IN A SIDEWALK AREA IN A RESIDENTIALLY-ZONED AREA.

2. That Section 25-3(q) of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

(q) Sidewalk or sidewalk area. That portion of a street between the curb lines or the lateral lines of a roadway and the adjacent property lines.
