ORDINANCE NO. 2235

AN ORDINANCE REMOVING A CITY COUNCILMAN AS A MEMBER OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That Section 20-1(a) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

"(a) The president of the Council shall select WITH concurrence, seven (7) persons who are citizens of the City of Grand Junction. The members shall serve three-year staggered terms. The city manager, or his designee, and the parks and recreation director shall be ex-officio, nonvoting members of the board."
