ORDINANCE NO. 2246

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN EASEMENT IN THE CITY.

WHEREAS, the easement hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following easement within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:

A parcel of land located in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian and being a part of Lot 1 of Little Bookcliff Subdivision, Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of said Lot 1 from which the northmost corner of said Lot 1 bears North 33 deg. 03 min. 36 sec. East 30.95 feet; thence South 42 deg. 42 min. 12 sec. East 30.95 feet; thence South 33 deg. 03 min. 36 sec. West 110.35 feet; thence North 42 deg. 42 min. 12 sec. West 30.95 feet; thence North 33 deg. 03 min. 36 sec. East 110.35 feet to the point of beginning;

EXCEPT a portion of a 20-foot drainage easement recorded in Book 1315 at page 728 of the records of the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's office;

be and the same hereby is vacated.
