ORDINANCE NO. 2247
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A SUBDIVISION PLAT TOGETHER WITH CERTAIN ROAD RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND EASEMENTS THEREIN.
WHEREAS, the subdivision plat, road rights-of-way and easements hereinafter described have been petitioned for vacation; and
WHEREAS, such vacations have been approved by the Planning Commission, would not deprive anyone of access to property and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That there be vacated the following within the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit:
The public streets, lots and utility, irrigation and drainage easements within portions of the Grand Junction Tech Center Subdivision. The Grand Junction Tech Center plat is recorded in Plat Book No. 13, Page 77, Reception No. 1302297. The vacations are more specifically described as follows:
1) Vacation of public streets and lots within the Grand Junction Tech Center Subdivision excluding public right-of-way previously dedicated for G Road and 24 Road.
2) Vacation of all utility, irrigation and drainage easements within the Grand Junction Tech Center Subdivision lying south of the following described line, said line being the northerly boundary of the Neighbors R.V. Park Subdivision, Filing One, a replat of a portion of the Grand Junction Tech Center Subdivision, beginning at a point from which the Brass Cap monumenting the Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, Section 32, Township 1 North, Range 1 West of the Ute Principal Meridian bears North 77] deg. 53 min. 16 sec. East 61.37 feet; thence South 90 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. West 87.00 feet; thence North 00 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. East 4.00 feet; thence South 90 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. West 142.11 feet; thence South 45 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. West 50.00 feet, thence North 45 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. West 361.99 feet; thence 11.78 feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a central angle of 45 deg. 00 min. 00 sec., a radius of 15.00 feet and a chord bearing North 67 deg. 30 min. 00 sec. West 11.48 feet; thence South 90 deg. 00 min. 00 sec. West 727.78 feet, the point of terminus.
