ORDINANCE NO. 2259

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the right-of-way hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the right-of-way more particularly described as follows:

 

The southeasterly 40 feet of Horizon Drive right-of-way adjacent to Lots 71 through 77 and Lots 102 and 103, Grand Junction Technological Center Subdivision,

 

be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utility and drainage.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of January, 1986.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2259, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 18th day of December, 1985, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
