ORDINANCE NO. 2260

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, the right-of-way hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

1. That the right-of-way more particularly described as follows:

The southeasterly 40 feet of Horizon Drive right-of-way adjacent to Lots 78 through 86 of Tech Del Sol, a subdivision of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 1, Grand Junction Technological Center Subdivision,

be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to easements for existing utilities and drainage; and

2. That this Ordinance is adopted to correct Ordinance No. 2192 which in turn sought to correct Ordinance No. 2185.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of January, 1986.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2260, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 18th day of December, 1985, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
