ORDINANCE NO. 2273

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE VOTE REQUIRED OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO OVERTURN A PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That Section 4-4-2F. of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

"F. A favorable vote of five members of the Governing Body shall be required to overturn a recommendation of the Planning Commission THAT AN APPLICATION FOR REZONING BE DENIED."
