ORDINANCE NO. 2274

 

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING HOLIDAYS AS DEFINED IN THE MODEL TRAFFIC CODE FOR COLORADO MUNICIPALITIES.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

That Section 25-5(c) of Chapter 28 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

 

"(c) Holidays. - Where used in this ordinance or on official signs shall in addition to Sundays mean New Year's Day, MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Colorado Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, General Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day AND Christmas Day.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of March, 1986.
