ORDINANCE NO. 2282

CONCERNING TRASH AND GARBAGE COLLECTION AND MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL UNITS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That Section 14-12-(A)(1)(b) of Chapter 14 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction is amended to read as follows:

"(b) Double or multi-family dwellings: The following monthly rates shall apply for weekly collection of all refuse at a single pickup point for each building:

2 units $8.15

3 units 11.25

4 units 14.35

5 units 17.50

6 units 20.60

7 units 23.70

8 units 26.80

In instances where multi-family residential uses have EIGHT (8) or more units, owners may elect to be charged according to the commercial rate as set forth in paragraph (A)(2)(a) of this section."
