ORDINANCE NO. 2341
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING DOG WASTE REMOVAL AND EXEMPTING BLIND OWNERS OF DOGS FROM SUCH REQUIREMENT.
It shall be the duty of each dog owner, or person in control of a dog, to remove any feces left by his dog on any sidewalk, gutter, street or other public area, or on any private property not owned by the owner or controller of the dog. Any person violating this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) or imprisonment for a term not exceeding ninety (90) days or by both such fine and imprisonment. The provisions of this ordinance shall not apply to a guide dog accompanying any blind person.
