ORDINANCE NO. 2353

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

WHEREAS, the right-of-way hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the right-of-way more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land situate in the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, being more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point 30 feet North of the Southeast Corner of said Section 24; thence West 30.0 feet; thence North 145.0 feet; thence East 30.0 feet to the east line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 24; thence South along said east line 145.0 feet to the Point of Beginning, reserving an easement over the east 20 feet of said parcel for utilities and irrigation purposes; AND

A parcel of land situate in the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 1 South, Range 1 East of the Ute Meridian, being more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point 30 feet North of the Southwest Corner of Said Section 19; thence North along the west line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 19, 215.0 feet; thence East 30.0 feet; thence South 215.0 feet; thence West 30.0 feet to the Point of Beginning, reserving an easement over the west 15 feet of said parcel for utilities and irrigation purposes.

is hereby vacated, subject to existing easements for utilities.
